(to add insult to injury, cities are mass-rich sources of income for an early base to reclaim, allowing the mechanical army to grow much faster than it would otherwise) Rinse and repeat as needed with a new disposable army each time until the world leaders are forced to surrender.

This is lopsided enough that if you went with relatively low-end calcs for Supcom and saddled the commander with a similarly restricted unit cap of 100 units it wouldn't change much either, since having the ACU teleport into the middle of a city and set up a single T1 land factory and 2-3 T1 power generators before teleporting away again (less than four minutes spent there in total, even if those power generators are the ACU's only source of energy for teleporting away) would be more than enough to either level the city with a growing swarm within short order, or force us to immediately break out enough nukes that the city is toast anyways. The only way a single ACU doesn't take this is if the pilot is an idiot, or if they're unfortunate enough to be gated close to a large nuke already primed to go off.Įven in near-ideal circumstances, our response times are just too low to respond to it effectively before it has a chance to upgrade itself, at which point it will be able to nope out of any potential trouble within seconds via teleport and then be back in business a few minutes later even if it's the only survivor.
